This course consists of two hours of lectures/class discussions and one-hour group discussions/writing tasks. While the two-hour-lecture/class discussion equips students with the essential fundamental knowledge of writing English engineering papers and conducting English presentation, the one-hour group discussion enables students to practice the knowledge and skills using authentic publications in engineering field. By the end of the training, students should finish an individual term paper or a collaborative writing project, making use of the moves and techniques learned from the course. In addition, students are provided the opportunity to apply their trained presentation techniques to conduct their simulation poster presentation and oral presentation.
